A Modern Upgrade Becomes a Custom Luxury Bathroom

One of the guiding principles at Salt Point Services is collaborating with our clients to meet their needs with every home improvement project. What does this mean? Our team is not satisfied until you are thrilled with the result. Throughout any construction process, there is ongoing communication between the client and our team to ensure that every need is addressed.

This principle was crucial in a recent bathroom upgrade we completed for a residential client. The initial goal was to upgrade the space to a modern design. However, throughout the project, Salt Point worked closely with the client to customize the plan. The final result was far more than a simple bathroom upgrade. The space was turned into a customized master bathroom with high-end finishes and luxury features that will foster relaxation for the homeowner going forward.

Here is a breakdown of the features and finishes that have turned this bathroom into a luxury oasis, something that other homeowners can make a reality by working with Salt Point Services.

Programmable Heated Tile Floor and Towel Bars

An under-tile floor heating system is the epitome of luxury for a master bathroom. However, you can warm up the large-format tile floors of this bathroom with more than just the thermostat. This programmable heating feature is also Bluetooth and wifi enabled, making it possible to control the temperature from your smartphone. Warm up this tile floor without even stepping foot in the bathroom with app accessibility.

Additionally, the towel bars in this bathroom can also be programmed to heat up, providing a luxury experience for the homeowner during the long, cold months of winter.

Anti-Fogging LED Mirrors

No master bathroom is complete without the right mirrors to make your personal hygiene and grooming easier. For this project, Salt Point installed LED lighted mirrors with anti-fogging capabilities to ensure that the bathroom is the perfect space to prepare for the day or a night out. The mirror sits above newly-installed high-end cabinetry with Cambria countertops and updated fixtures to further the aesthetic and functional capabilities of the bathroom.

Two Shower Controls/Heads

Creating a high-end showering experience means offering diverse options for bathing. To this end, the team installed two shower heads with two separate controls, providing a diversity of options for the homeowner’s showering needs. Add to this an intricate glass design with a tiled tower wall for more daylight in the shower and you have a top-notch bathing experience to enjoy. A full-length lighted shower niche, and a lower niche that is low enough for easy shaving, completes the luxury features of this bathroom feature.

Walls that are Functional and Aesthetically Pleasing

The master bathroom should be an oasis for the homeowner, and the walls play an important role in the aesthetics of the space. Wallpaper was used to establish a baseline for the color of the room, but an accent tile wall brings an additional dynamic to the look. A tile-in wall register for HVAC allows temperature control in the master bathroom without sacrificing aesthetics or space.

Modern Toilet Design with Extra Features

One of the top names in modern bathroom designs, a TOTO toilet was installed in the space to complete the modern features of this master bath. This fixture was customized with bidet features to provide a high-end cleaning experience for all users.

Turn Your Bathroom into a Luxury Oasis

The high-end features and finishes used in this bathroom project all came from ongoing collaboration with the homeowner throughout the project. What started as a simple upgrade to modernize their master bath turned into a full-scale luxury makeover, resulting in a bathroom straight out of a dream.
