Fayetteville Condo Flip

We love when long-time clients come back to us with new ideas and projects to tackle. One of these clients is Linda Crawford, a realtor in Syracuse. Linda was with us at the very beginning of starting Salt Poiint; We worked together on renovating her personal home 6 years ago. Recently, Linda purchased a condominum in Fayetteville with the vision to flip it. Linda felt this investment opportunity was a natural extension of her real estate career and expertise, and provided a fresh challenge for her.

Because this was a condo, the extorior didn't need to be addressed, and Linda did her own landscaping, so our focus was the entirity of the interior. This was a true house flipping situation, as the project was extensive. We took out walls, put in new floors, and touched every part of the house - except for the bathtub!

The kitchen was one of our favorite parts of the project, as we had to come up with creative ways to make it larger. We acheived a larger space by moving the garage door and tearing down the walls that lead into the living room. We added new cabinets, new sink, hardwood floors, granite countertops, a drop-in stainless steel sink, white subway tile, and a custom kitchen island with a butcher block top.

In the master bedroom, we changed the carpet, gutted and tiled the bathroom, and built a brand new walk-in closet through California closets. As a personal detail, we custom-built sliding barn doors that open to the closet and bathroom.

Throughout the rest of the house we updated some older elements and fixtures, and did a complete renovation of the upstairs bathroom.

Even though house flipping can often mean completing the work on the lowest-dollar and as quickly as possible, we treated the project like it was a personal home renovation for Linda, taking care to incorporate the craftsmanship Salt Point is known for.

We'd love to hear about a project you're thinking about starting and how we can help!
